Opened on May 24, 1926 in Joliet, Illinois by the six Rubens brothers
and architected by C. W. and George L. Rapp, the Rialto Square Theatre
has created its own majestic chapter an American theatre history.
The Rialto's European architecture is the work of the late Eugene
Romeo, a Sicilian immigrant who settled in Park Ridge, Illinois. Romeo's
work can be seen in the great city of Chicago, including work done
on Soldier Field. Today the Rialto Square Theatre stands as a testament
to great minds and great workers. The Rialto offers more than just
