Information:
Located on the south side of 41st Street, west of 7th Avenue, the
Nederlander Theatre was built in 1921. Originally called The National,
this theater was the first Broadway house to supply restrooms for
the actors and luxurious restrooms and lounges for patrons as well.
The National was also the host of the premiere of Edward Albee's Who's
Afraid of Virginia Woolf? The Nederlander is now owned by the Nederlander
brothers and the theater was named for their father, Tobias. Recommended
seating is located in the mezzanine, seats 101 through 114. Address:
