Getting to the Target Center is simple. There are three ramps leading directly from the freeway to Target Center Parking. There are 6,000 spots available in the attached garage and another 5,000 spaces to park within three blocks of the Center. Head down a little early to miss the turnstile traffic, but other than waiting in line to get into the Center, traffic flows smoothly into and away from the Target Center for most games. The Target Center offers the usual arena-type fare; hot dogs, nachos, mini-pizzas, etc. Just make sure you save room for a Leinenkugel's or Grain Belt or two during the game. Your best bet is to head down early and plan on eating somewhere in the Warehouse District before the game. This will also get you the best shot at parking close to the Center. For great food, drinks, dancing and entertainment before or after the game, be sure to head into the Warehouse District across the street from Target Center. Conveniently located at First Avenue and Hennepin Avenue, the downtown Minneapolis Warehouse District offers a wide selection of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. You should be able to find a place that meets with just about anyone's approval. Tip: If your not in a hurry to get home after the game, let the traffic die down a bit as you grab some coffee or hot chocolate inside one of the Warehouse District's cozy coffee shops. Downtown Minneapolis proudly keeps up a great environment for Minnesota basketball fans to enjoy Timberwolves games. Head down early for great parking and some dinner or drinks before the game, and get ready for Minnesota Timberwolves basketball at the Target Center. Enjoy the Game!
