Carlos was born in Honduras, but was raised in East Los Angeles most of his life. He was one credit short of graduating from college when he left school to pursue comedy. Carlos worked his way up the comedy ladder, leading to a very successful CD, Take A Joke America that brought him to the top. In 2001, he toured in The Three Amigos Tour, touring with Pablo Francisco and Freddy Soto in what is the biggest tour he has done to date. Carlos has since been seen in television and movies doing comedy as well as some dramatic roles. You can now see him in his own show, Mind of Mencia, which airs on Comedy Central.
