Pink Artist Information
Pop rock has not been the same since Pink, or P!nk as she sometimes is known as, dropped her debut album Can't Take Me Home in 2000. This is one unique artist, and TickCo has your tickets waiting for you to check her out live!
Alecia Beth Moore had aspirations to be a rock star at an early age, and after a few different projects joined an Atlanta R&B trio by the name of Choice. The group signed to LaFace Records, where Moore stayed as a solo artist under the stage name of Pink when the trio eventually disbanded.
When Can't Take Me Home was released in 2000, Pink was still a struggling artist at that point. This album changed all that, going double platinum and producing two Top Ten Billboard Hot 100 singles, There You Go and Most Girls. The next year Pink teamed up with Lil' Kim, Mya and Christina Aguilera for a cover of Labelle's 1975 tune Lady Marmalade. The song was a huge success, topping the singles charts in several countries, including the U.S., and eventually delivered the foursome a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals.
Pink continued to create music and became a mainstay on the pop charts, with her next four albums, including her latest, the 2008 release of Funhouse, all charting in the Top Ten on the Billboard Hot 200 Album Chart. Through the end of 2008 nine of her singles had charted in the Top Ten, with two topping the charts.
This artist has accomplished all this while defiantly sticking to her philosophies, being vocal about what she believes in and actively participating in many charitable causes. She is an artist to both respect and admire.
Treat yourself to a great evening of fun and great music. Great seats are available today to see Pink live in concert.
