Rose Bowl 30-50-Yard Line Review

Talk about VIP! Sitting between the 30 yard lines for the BCS National Championship Game is about as good as it gets! The best possible seats at the Rose Bowl can be found here. These sections include 4, 5, 18 and 19. Rose Bowl Stadium is just a large bowl so there is no upper level to speak of. This set-up makes all seats, even seats in the higher rows, relatively close to the field when compared to some of the newer, tiered stadiums.
There really isn't a bad seat in any of these sections. Every seat here is located on or near the 50 yard line giving you the best view of both sides of the field. When comparing tickets in this seating area, it really comes down to the row number.
Lettered Rows, A-N - Rated:
These rows are located closest to the field in front of the numbered rows. Row N is closest to the field, while row A is located directly in front of row 1. These seats are nice if you want to get as close to the action as possible. These seats, along with the higher rows are generally a bit cheaper than the mid-level rows. Due to the close proximity to the field, the players and other activities on the sideline, your view of the entire field could be obstructed.
Rows 10-55 - Rated:
The best seats, and likely the most expensive, will be found between rows 10-55. A seat here will give you a great view of the game at both ends of the field, while maintaining a closeness to the action. So which is better, a seat in row 10 or row 55? This really depends on personal preference. A seat in row 10 will get you incredibly close to the field, the sidelines and the bone crushing hits, but your view of the entire field may be limited. A seat in row 55 will be a bit further back from the action but your vantage point from which to see the entire field improves.
Rows 1-9 & 56-77 - Rated:
Low or high? That is often the question at Rose Bowl Stadium because these high/low rows are usually comparable in price. Again, the high/low question really comes down to personal preference. A seat in rows 1-9 gets you incredibly close to the action, but your vantage point from which to see the entire field is diminishes. Sitting above row 56 gives you an incredible view of the entire field, but you certainly won't be right on top of the action. In this category look for a ticket as low (closest to row 56) or as high (closest to row 9) as possible. If the price is the same, select a seat in row 56 over a seat in row 76 an a seat in row 9 over a seat in row 1.

Rose Bowl Goal-30-Yard Line Review

These sections are located lower from the goal line to the 30-yard line. These seats are typically much less expensive than the premium 50 yard line seats making them a great choice for fans who want a premium yard-line seat but would rather not pay the premium prices.
A lot of college football fans prefer to sit near an endzone. You'll sacrifice an optimal view of plays near the far endzone, but these seats really pay off when the 4-down war is being waged right in front of you! You will be front-and-center for incredible touchdown passes and goal-line stands on your end of the field. In these cases, you will have the 50 yard line seats beat.
When comparing tickets in this seating area, it really comes down to the row number.
