Heading to a Mavericks game at American Airlines Center? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have American Airlines Center broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.
General Information - Opened in July 2001, the American Airlines Center has room for 20,000 basketball fans. The sweeping design keeps viewers low to the court in the lower level but causes the last rows of this level to be further away from the court than most venues. We highly recommend paying the extra price difference and getting seats in rows closer to the court when sitting in the lower level. The upper level is stacked on top of the luxury sweet level and while sight lines are un-obstructed they are high off the court.
 Rated - To impress that valued client or to treat your guest(s) to the best possible seats in the house, look for seats in rows A-D of the center court sections 119, 118, 106 or 107. Sections 106 and 107 are right off the court while sections 118 and 119 sit directly behind the player’s side of the court and the press tables. You may find just the right break in the price of tickets if you’re willing to sit just off center court. Look for seats in the first few rows of sections 105, 108, 117 and 120 if you still want side court seating. Section 117 is directly behind the Mav’s or home team bench while section 120 sits behind the visitors bench.
Rated - You can’t go wrong with lower level seating on the corners and behind the baskets at American Airlines Center. For a good match of price versus perspective, look for seats in the first few rows of sections 101-104, 109-116 and 121-124. Sections 115 and 116 surround the home team’s entrance and sections 121 and 122 meet the visitor’s entrance. To be right on top of slam-dunk action, look for great prices on tickets in rows AA-MM behind the baskets in sections 111-114, 123-124 and 101-102.
Rated - For the best prices in lower level seating, we recommend sitting on the sides rather than saving money by sitting in the upper corners or upper rows behind the baskets in the lower level. Look for seats in the higher rows of sections 104-109 and 116-121 first.
Rated - For a price break from the side court seating, look for seats in the upper rows of the corners of the Arena in sections 102-103, 110-111, 114-115 and 122-123 followed by seats behind the baskets in the higher rows of sections 101, 112-113 and 124. Try to avoid sitting directly behind the baskets at eye level. For the best experience spend the extra money on tickets and stick with seats on the sides of the court.
Seats to Avoid – Unless ticket prices have soared during a premium game or post-season play, sitting in the upper level will save you some csh. These seats are up a ways off the court, stacked on top of the suite level but there are not any obstructions. If you do choose seating in the upper level, be sure to stick to sections 307-312 or 324-329. If you can, avoid the upper level corners and upper level sections on the ends of the Center, unless seats are available in the first two rows. Regardless of the upper level section, be sure to hunt for seats in the first few rows up here. During high impact games, fans tend to get on their feet a lot and we don’t recommend buying seats in the upper rows unless these prices really match your budget. Don’t fret; if high prices have pushed these seats into your price range, it probably means it’s going to be a great match-up that drove the ticket prices up and filled the house!
