Help Me Choose My Seats ™

Heading to a Cavaliers game at Gund Arena? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have Gund Arena broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.

General Information – The Gund Arena opened in 1994 and currently holds 20,562 fans for a basketball game. Just about every seat in the house has a comfortable contour to the seat back, plenty of cushioning and its own cup holder. They really do have nice seats throughout the Arena. The floor seats in the first few rows surrounding the court are temporary folding chairs with plenty of cushioning, armrests and no drink holders but who cares when you’re on the floor! The

Rated - Premium seating in the first 2 rows on the sides of the court and first 5 rows behind the baskets offer the closest views of the game and in seat food and beverage services. Look for tickets in single or double-digit sections for premium seating. We’ve yet to find a seating chart that has these sections included. Generally, the single digit sections coincide with the 100 level sections above them. Therefore section 7 or 8 would be in front of section 107 or 108 and consist of the first few rows behind the Cav’s bench. Sections 10 and 33 are behind the baskets on either end of the court. These sections include in-seat wait service in the first 5 rows.

Rated - Side court seating in sections 107-110 and 124-127 offer great views of the game, comfortable seats and a break in price from the premium sections mentioned above. Center court sections 108, 109, 125 and 126 each split the center court line. Club Level seats in sections marked with a C, sections C106-C111 and C123-C128 offer in-seat wait service and a little more room but the higher prices are hard to justify when the seats are at this distance from the court. For an even further break in price look for seats in sections 107, 110, 124 and 127. These sections are closer to the baselines and are a good way to get close to the court at a price less than center court sections.

Rated - Lower level seating in the corners and ends of the arena, sections 100-106, 111-123 and 128-133 offer the best prices available in the lower level. We recommend trying to find seats in sections 106,111,133 or 128 first. These sections are in the corners and the basket will not be as much of a hindrance as it will be in sections directly behind the ends of the court.

Rated - Upper level side court seating in sections 207-210 and 224-227 offer the best views of the game in the upper level. This is your best bet for bargain prices between the baskets. Stick to sections 208,209,225 and 226 for views from center court.

Seats to Avoid – We don’t recommend sitting in the corners or ends of the upper level. Try to avoid seats in sections 200-206, 211-223 and 228-233. From up high it's hard to judge shot distances and break-away speeds from these angles. However, these are good seats if you are strapped for cash during premium and post season games. It’s worth spending the extra money to get a better view of the action from between the baskets.

Parking - Parking is available directly around the arena for approximately $8.00 to $15.00.
