Help Me Choose My Seats ™

Heading to a Hornets game at New Orleans Arena? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have New Orleans Arena broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.

General Information – The New Orleans Arena opened in 1995 and it’s one of those intimae arenas, only holding 18,500 fans during a basketball setup. You can go wrong in arenas with 18,000 plus seating. If a basketball arena only holds 18,000 plus it usually indicates it was built for the sole purpose of hosting a basketball event. This means there’s never a bad seat in the house. Seats are pixilated with a variety of colors mixed in throughout the arena. With the exception of a few foldout chairs on the floor, each seat has state-of-the-art comfort and a “high-tech” cup holder in front of it. This “Beverage Console,” as like to refer to it, hold everything from a drink to a cell phone and even a toothbrush, for those long days during three games of action during the NCAA Tournament! Because it was built closer to 2000, you know that no detail was overlooked. Brand new facilities and features make The New Orleans Arena a sweet place to catch a game.

The home bench is located in front of sections 111 and 112. The visiting team bench is located in front of sections 114 and 113.

Rated - The best seats in the house are far and away the Club seats in sections 101, 102 111-114, 123 and 124. To impress clients or simply achieve the best experience the Arena has to offer, there’s no other choice. Club seats encompass the first 26 rows of the above-mentioned sections and include all the finest amenities an NBA arena has to offer. Ticket holders here enjoy a list of first-class accoutrements, including theatre style seating in the biggest seats in the arena; priority services such as concierge and in-seat wait service; premium sight lines and exclusive club access. Club access includes admission into the KorbinFoods.com and South Club lounges with full bars, televisions and more. Depending on the season ticket holder, private parking is often available with these tickets. Parking should be noted with the tickets on our site. If parking is not noted, it most likely means the season ticket holder is going to use the pass. For the best experience in these sections, try to find seats in the first five rows.

Rated - If the premium seats up close between the baskets are priced a bit too high for your liking, try finding seats in the higher rows. You should be able to find a significant break in price in rows ten and higher. These are still Club seats with all the fine amenities as down low. You just save a little more money by sitting a little further away from the court.

Rated - For the best prices in the lower level, try sitting in the corners or end sections 103-110 and 115-122. These seats don’t include the same amenities as the Club seats but they’re still very comfortable with plenty of room. You save money when you don’t sit between the baskets and I personally prefer sitting here when my budget’s tight, you’re still close to the action and if you don’t mind getting your own drinks, you can buy more of them with the money you saved on seats here! Another good choice for saving money would be to find seats in the first few rows of the upper level side court sections. For a between the basket view of the game at a great price, look for seats in sections 301, 315-317, 331 or 332. Keep in mind this is a small arena. Because it only holds 18,000 plus seats and because it was designed for basketball, the upper level seats aren’t that bad. For an extra bonus, look for first row seats. This way you get a free footrest with your purchase.

Rated - Upper level seating on the corners and ends of the arena can save you a lot of money if you really need to stretch your dollar. As mentioned above, this is a small arena so there’s really not a bad sea in the house, only close and closer. I’d recommend sticking on the sides of the court but sometimes whether it be a premium game, NCAA Tournament or post-season play it’s necessary to find lower priced seating.
