The sections how they appear in Fenway Park
General Information
Our experts have broken down Fenway Park to help you find the
perfect seats. Review the information below. If you have any questions
please feel free to call us toll free 800-279-4444.
The Best Seats in the House
Rated - The best seats at Fenway Park have to be Field Boxes sections
1-82 with sections 9-70 in the infield. Field Box Seats are as close
to the field as you can get where you will get an incredible up-close
view of the action. There are only 12 rows in the Field Boxes so even
in the last row, you are only 12 rows away from the Field.
If you are looking to impress a client and truly want to go VIP, look for tickets labeled "406 Club". The .406 Club is a semi-private club offering the finest in ballpark entertaining. The atmosphere is upscale where guests can enjoy fine dining, a private bar and can watch the game from stadium-style theater seating. Seats are located indoors and are elevated above the lower level behind home plate. If you are going to go to the .406 Club dress appropriately, blue jeans are not allowed.
Excellent Seats
Rated - If Field Box seats are a bit out of your budget but you
still want premium lower level seats, look for seats in the Loge Boxes.
They are located directly behind the Field Boxes in sections 98-165
with 110-160 being closest to the infield. Again there are only 12
rows in this level, so even from the last row you are very close to
the field. Seats here are located in front of the poles that support
the upper level so you won't have any obstructions.
If you would like to experience the game from a slightly more elevated perspective try checking out the Roof Boxes along the first and third baselines. This perspective gives patrons a birds-eye view of the action and an incredible view of historic Fenway Park. Look for seats labeled "Roof". Sections 1-20 are located closet to the infield with sections 21-43 down the right field line.
If you want a truly unique experience, get on top of the "Green Monster". These seats are located right on top of the Famous Green Monster in left field. Seats here are extremely limited which makes them fairly expensive. If you don't mind the hefty price tag and want to say, I sat atop the "Green Monster at Fenway Park", look for seats labeled, "Monster" 1-10. View Picture of Green Monster Seats
Good Seats
Rated - Right Field Boxes are great for those who want to be close to the field but don't like the price tag found on Loge or Field Box seats. These seats are located down the right field line and into the outfield. This is prime foul ball territory so be sure to bring a glove. You will be fairly close to the field but may not have the best vantage point of home plate. Look for seats labeled "RF Box" or ones that are located in sections 1-7 or 87-97.
If you would prefer to be closer to home plate look for Grandstand Seats between Sections 13-29 on the infield. The Grandstand is located just above the Loge Boxes in the lower level. Some seats in the Grandstand may be obstructed by the poles that hold up the Suite and upper levels. For the most part the poles will not be a problem at all as they rarely obstruct the site lines of home plate. Look for seats labeled "GS", "GR" or "GST".
Economical Seats
Rated - If price is most definitely a factor and you just want
to get out to the ballpark for a game, you may want to look for seats
located in the Bleachers left field and center field sections 34-43.
There is definitely a party atmosphere in the bleachers and it is
said that this is "where the real fans sit". This is an
outfield view of the game; however, you will have a few extra bucks
in your pocket to buy an extra beer or two.
Be sure to keep an eye out for Grandstand seating between the bases.
Keep a close eye on the sections. Occasionally you can find a pretty
good deal on tickets located in the Grandstands.
For popular sold-out games, there may be "Standing Room Only" tickets available and are usually the cheapest in the stadium. Fans with a ticket labeled "SRO" or "SR" don't have an assigned seat, but are allowed to view the game from the concourse areas behind the grandstand sections.
Miscellaneous Info
Children 24 months and younger do not need a ticket but will be asked to sit on the lap of an accompanying adult.
Non-Alcohol sections are located in Grandstand sections 32-33. |
