Help Me Choose My Seats
|
Heading to a 76ers game at Wachovia Center? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have Wachovia Center broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.
General Information – The Wachovia Center opened in 1996 and currently holds 19,500 fans during a basketball setup.
Rated - To impress clients or to treat yourself to the best the Wachovia Center has to offer, look for Club Box seating. Club Box seating sits above sections 101-104, 110-116 and 122-124. These seats include all the VIP amenities such as more comfortable seating with more room, wait service, exclusive access to private clubs, bars and restrooms, access through a private lobby and access to a private Club level concourse. Club Box seats will be marked Club Box or CB when available. To locate the club box section on our seating map, the Club Box section will be a double-digit number corresponding to the 100 level seating below it. For instance, Club Box 16 is located above section 116. Parking may be available with these tickets and should be noted on our site. You might want to note that sections 101 and 113 are at center court with sections102, 112, 114 and 124 being between the basket sections as well.
Rated - Courtside seats in rows A and B surrounding the court are a great choice if you’re not interested in the VIP amenities mentioned above. There’s no time for all those distractions when you’re right on top of the action anyway. These are temporary fold out seats with plenty of cushion. Section 102 is behind the home bench and section 124 is behind the visitor bench. In row A of sections 111-115 there’s nothing between you and the players but your shoes and 3 feet of paint! You can also find some great prices on seats in the first 8 to 10 rows of the lower level. Row 1 is the front row of the lower level but behind the floor seating in rows A and B. As mentioned above, section 101 and 113 are center court sections and between the baskets seating includes sections 102, 103, 111-115, 123 and 124.
Rated - Lower level seating in the upper rows of sections 101-103, 111-115, 123 and 124 offers great lower level views and a break in price from premium seating. Sets on the corners and ends of the Wachovia Center offer the lowest prices in the arena. You get comfortable seats, close to the action and some extra cash in your pocket for souvenirs. If you don’t mind a view from behind the baselines, look for seats in sections 104-110 or 116-122. Floor sections 106-107 and 118-120, rows B-J, will get you close to the basket at some pretty good prices. These are my personal favorite sections. You’re right on top of dunks and long-range shots are being drained right in front of you. You can’t beat these prices if you want to be close to the floor. Keep in mind; the baskets may obstruct some of the action. I personally don’t mind sitting behind the baskets, they are glass backboards after all. I guess I should recommend avoiding them if you’ve never sat in a similar section before.
Rated - If you’re on a tight budget, look for seats in the first few rows of sections 201-203, 211-215, 223 and 224 of the 200 level. These are upper level seats above the Suite level but they’re comfortable and offer a good view of the game from between the baskets. For a bonus, look for seats in row 1, that way you get a free foot rest with your purchase and you’ll never have to stand to see over other cheering fans.
Seats to Avoid - Avoid seats in the ends and corners of the arena unless you’re really strapped for cash during high demand or post season games. The Wachovia Center was built for hockey as well as basketball so seats on the ends of the venue are extra far away from the ends of the court. I do not recommend sitting in sections 204A-210 or 216A-222. These sections are simply to high and too far away from the action to get a good view of the entire game. I highly recommend spending the extra few dollars to sit between the baskets in the 200 level sections mentioned above. |
