Help Me Choose My Seats ™

Heading to a Bobcats game at Charlotte Coliseum? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have Charlotte Coliseum broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.

General Information - The Coliseum opened in 1988 and currently holds 24, 042 basketball fans. Lower level seating consists of temporary foldout seating with no armrests or cup holders.

Rated - To impress clients or to treat yourself to the best possible NBA experience, we recommend sitting in the first few rows of center court sections 109P, 127P, 109 and 127. These seats are as close as you can get to the court, behind the press tables. Note press tables are set up on both sides of the court. Other great options between the baskets include sections 107-111P, 107-111, 125-129P and 125-129. Premium seating in sections marked P include special amenities such as in-seat wait service and usually parking. Parking should be noted with tickets for sale on our site, it all depends on if the season ticket holder has included it as part of the package for resale.

Rated - The upper rows of side court sections 107-111 and 125-129 offer a nice break in price from the premium seats in the lower rows of these sections and great lower level views from between the baskets. These are also permanent seats with nicer seat backs and more seat cushion than the lower seats. They don’t offer all of the same amenities but they are closer to the main concourse for quicker access to concessions and restrooms. Although sitting behind the baskets is not recommended as having the best perspective of the game, seats in sections 117P, 119P, 101P and 135P make for up close views of the game if you stay in the first 5 or 6 rows (A-F). These include the same amenities as the side court sections and parking if noted with the tickets on our site.

Rated - Lower level corner seating and lower level seats behind the baskets in sections 101-108, 112-124 and 130-136 offer an even further break in price and good views close to the action. If you’re looking to save some money and don’t mind sacrificing a premium view of the games from between the baselines, look for seats in the corner sections first. Corner seats offer a better view of the action; letting you gauge shot distances from your end of the court and so on. Seats behind the baskets are a good place to find bargain prices for seats close to the floor but it’s hard to gauge the action at the far end of the court and the baskets themselves may hinder views of some of the action.

Rated - Upper level seating between the baskets offer the best views of the game at bargain prices. Look for seats in sections 209-213 or 231-235 if your looking to spend a little less money than you would sitting in the 100 level. Try to stick with seats in rows A-D of these sections for the best views.

Seats to Avoid – Unless you’re really on a tight budget during premium and post season games, avoid upper level seating in the corners and ends of the Coliseum. We recommend spending the extra money to sit between the baskets if you’re sitting in the upper level. You should also try seats in the upper rows of the lower level corner and sections behind the baskets before you settle on sitting in these sections. Up high it gets harder to gauge shot distance and action on the far end of the court. It’s really worth the extra money to be closer to the action during a basketball game. You don’t want to miss that buzzer beating, game winning 3-point shot because you were sitting to far away, do you?
