General Motors Grandstand -

The GM Grandstand is
the place to be for NASCAR at Lowe's. You get premium views from sections as close to the Start/Finish Line as possible. The higher up you sit, the better the view because you get to see more of the backstretch. Rows 3-10 are concrete seating without any back-rests. If you do sit down low, it's a good way to save a little on ticket price but be sure to bring some extra cushion or a tote-seat with seat-back for extra comfort. Rows 11-16 get you a bleacher-style seat with chair-back, so bring some extra cushion for more comfort if you do sit in the bleacher seats. Rows 17 and up are individual chairs with seat-backs. There are poles supporting the Suites at the back of the GM Grandstand. These poles are located at about row 40, so generally rows 40-51 will be covered, but you might end up close to or behind a pole if you sit in row 40 or higher. All-in-all, you can't beat the GM sections for their location close to the Start/Finish Line, the great view you get of action along the front stretch and the great view down to pit road.

The Chrysler Grandstand is a great choice when seats in the GM Grandstand are just out of reach. You get premium views of the race along the front stretch although these sections are a little further away from the Start/Finish Line than seats in the GM sections. However, the Chrysler Grandstand is closer to the high-action Turn 4, so you get a great view of thrills-n-spills coming out of the turn. For an added bonus, seats in the Chrysler Grandstand also get you great views of pit road close to the pit entrance.

The Ford Grandstand is a great choice when seats in the GM Grandstand are just out of reach. You get premium views of the race along the front stretch although these sections are a little further away from the Start/Finish Line than seats in the GM sections. However, the Ford Grandstand is closer to Turn 1, so you get a great view of magic and mayhem heading into the turn. For an added bonus, seats in the Ford Grandstand also get you great views of pit road close to the pit exit.
You might also see seats listed with "Veranda" or "New Veranda" as the section. These are in the Ford Grandstands (roughly rows 27-45) just before the Ford Upper Deck sections in rows 46-68. Both the Veranda and Upper Deck seating is made up of individual seats with seat-backs, and both sections are up high near Turn 1 for great views of the entire track, including the front stretch, pit road and the pit exit.

Turn 1 and South Grandstand -

Sitting along Turn 1 or in the South Grandstand is a great way to get into the race when you need to save a little on the ticket price. From the right sections you'll have an awesome view down pit road close to the pit exit. The GN sections offer individual seats with seat-backs and great views of the action heading into and out of Turn 1. GNS sections AA and BB are made up of individual seats with seat-backs. GNS sections CC-HH are bleacher-style seats with a chair-back. GNS sections offer very similar views to the GN sections. The South Grandstand is located right between Turns 1 and 2 and is made up of bleacher-style benches with a chair-back for each row. If you need to spend less on tickets than you would to sit along the front stretch, the South Grandstand, GN and GNS sections are a good alternative. The higher up you sit the better because you get to see more of the entire track from up high.

4th Turn Terrace -

Here's a good section when you're looking for lower prices than you'll find along the front stretch. You get fair views of the race heading out of Turn 3 and good views of the drivers maneuvering into and out of the high-action Turn 4. In the right sections you can get a great view down pit road and the front stretch without having to turn your head. Stick to sections closer to the front stretch and across from the pit entrance to get the most bang for your buck. Turn 4 Terrace sections are made up of individual seats with seat-backs for extra comfort as well. The higher up you sit the more of the track you'll be able to see, so stick to the high rows for the best views.

Diamond Tower -

Diamond Tower seating puts you along Turn 2 or along the backstretch just out of Turn 2. We only recommend backstretch seating if you're strapped for cash and really need to get into the race at the lowest prices possible. You do get comfortable, individual seats with seat-backs in these sections but you sacrifice a great view of the front stretch and action along pit road. Sitting up as high as possible will get you the best views of the front stretch, so stick to the high rows if you do plan on seats in the Diamond Tower.

Pit Passes
Pit passes are a great way to compliment your ticket purchase. If you or any of your guests have never been down to the pit area during a NASCAR event, we highly recommend the experience. Meet the crews and even drivers if you're lucky. Team members are often all to happy to take a photo with you, sign autographs or even flip you a free souvenir lug nut. Chat about the setup and snap a shot of your group next to your favorite car. These guys are happy to converse and kill some time to ease their nerves before the big race.
Pre-Race: Lowe's generally grants admission to the pit area from the time gates open until one hour before start of race
Must be 18 years old: Lowe's requires a picture ID and proof of age in order for you to pick up Pit Passes.
Dress Code: No shorts, tank tops or open toe shoes. Dress code is enforced.
"HOT": Pit area is "HOT" during race, practice & qualifying. Only working personnel admitted.
Garage: Garage access is controlled by NASCAR.
Qualifying: Lowe's does not allow pit admission during Qualifying.
Pick-Up: You will (most likely) need to exchange coupon for Pit Pass at Pit Pass Trailer.
Autographs: Lowe's does not know when drivers will be on pit road. Lowe's can not guarantee autographs nor can we. All Pit Access is at the discretion of NASCAR officials.
For more information regarding pit access and policies call Lowe's directly at 704-455-3203.
