Help Me Choose My Seats ™

Heading to a Bulls game at United Center? Looking for the perfect seats? Look no further. We have United Center broken down to help you choose the perfect seats.

General Information – The United Center opened in 1994 during the hey-days of the Jordan era. It currently holds 20,500 fans during a basketball setup. Even though it was designed for hockey and basketball fans, they did a great job of keeping every fan as close as they could be to the great legend himself. You can all thank Michael for that. One of the downfalls, if any, to having Michael influence the design of the Center would be the amount of seats they fit into the design. They needed to make room for a lot of fans and although the seats are close together, I have to say there’s a ton of ‘em in premium seating range.

Rated - The best seats in the house are in the premium rows (A and B) between the baskets. Look for seats in sections 101, 102, 110-113, 121 and 122 for the best views of the game as close as you can get to the court. Club Seating includes fine dining in the exclusive Chicago Stadium Club restaurant, waiter and waitress service and theatre-style seats to name just a few of the extra added VIP amenities. Reserved parking passes are often available with these tickets and will be noted if available on our site. For the best Club seats in the house, stick to center court sections 101, 111, 112 or 122. Section 102 is behind the home bench and section 121 is behind the visiting team’s bench. An alternative to sitting on the sides would be to sit in sections 105-107 or 116-118. Rows A and B of these sections include in-seat wait service and VIP amenities as well.

Rated - The higher rows of the lower level sections between the baskets are great seats at a lower price than the premium seating. Keep a good eye out for aisle seats at dead center court in sections 101, 111-112 and 122. Aisle seats should be noted with tickets and center court aisle seats will most definitely be noted.

Rated - For lower level seats at the lowest prices, look for seats in the corners and ends of the Center. Sections 103-105 are near the home bench and player entrance while sections 118-120 are near the visitor’s bench and entrance. You can save even more money in the lower level by sitting behind the baskets in sections 105-107 and 116-118. Personally, I like sitting behind the baskets, you save money on your tickets and long shots and dunks are happening right in front of you at your end of the court. Some people argue that you can see more of the action from the corner sections, while this is true; it’s really just a matter of personal preference. There are some seats where the baskets become a slight hindrance directly behind the baskets in the middle rows. If you’ve never had trouble seeing through glass before, it shouldn’t deter you from sitting here.

Rated - 200 and 300 level seating between the baskets are you best choices outside of the lower level. Look for seats in sections 201, 202, 216-219, 233 and 234 first. To save even more money, try looking for seats in the first few rows of sections 301, 302, 316-319, 333 or 334. If you’re really on a tight budget, you can find the lowest prices in the ends and corner sections of the United Center. Try finding seats in sections 203-215 and 220-232 first. The United Center was built for basketball. This design keeps the upper level seats behind the baselines a lot closer to the court than they would be in a dual-purpose hockey/basketball arena. For as many seats as the Center has available for a basketball game, they’ve done a nice job with the upper level seating. For the best experience, avoid the corners and ends of the upper level unless you really need to save some cash during high demand or post-season games.
