Augusta Golf Hall of Fame and Botanical Gardens
Augusta is best known for golf, so naturally the Georgia Golf Hall of Fame is located here. The Hall of Fame features the best golfers hailing from Georgia. You will be able to view player profiles, historic moments and more. Located on the grounds is the Botanical gardens. The gardens encompass approximately 17 acres along the banks of the Savannah River beside Reynolds Street. The site includes 8 acres of gorgeous display gardens! The gardens are just the spot for an afternoon walk.

Augusta Riverwalk
Located in downtown Augusta on Reynolds Street between 7th and 10th streets, the Riverwalk is an integral part of Augusta's downtown area. Along the walk you'll find shops, incredible restaurants, pubs, hotels, and various historic sites. The Augusta Riverwalk is truly one of the city's finest offerings.

Augusta Canal
See Augusta from a different point of view. History comes alive with movies, models and working textile machinery. Take a St Petersburg Boat Guided Tour. See more than 200 years of history and watch for wonderful wildlife along the Augusta Canal.

Augusta Museum of History
The Augusta Museum of History was established in 1937 for the purpose of preserving and sharing the material history of Augusta and the region. From a 10,000- year old projectile point to a 1914 locomotive, the collection chronicles Augusta's rich and fascinating past.

Confederate Monument
Dedicated in 1878, the Confederate Monument is one of the largest memorials to the Civil War South. It's unique in it's depiction of the anonymous enlisted man which holds a place of honor above the confederate Generals Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, T.R.R. Cobb and W.H.T. Walker.
