Rage Against the Machine Information
Rage Against the Machine broke into the music scene in 1992, bringing their unique sound of rock, punk, funk and hip hop, and blended it with unique lyrics that promoted their revolutionary socialist philosophy. Rage produced hits such as Bullet in the Head, Killing in the Name and Guerilla Radio. Rage's hit song, Wake Up was featured in the hit movie The Matrix.
Rage Against the Machine broke up in 2000, with lead singer Zack De La Rocha concentrating on his solo and activist work for the next seven years. The other members of the band joined with Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell to form the band Audioslave.
On April 15, 2007, all of the members of Rage got back together to perform at the Coachella Music Festival. The response was enormous, and the band's energy level had not deteriorated one iota during their absence.
