Ice Cube is known as one of the most influential figures in rap history. He has been very vocal about politics, social views, and discrimination, especially the mistreatment of blacks. His career started over 20 years ago with the West Coast rap group N.W.A. Along with Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella and MC Ren, N.W.A would go on to be one of the most successful, yet controversial rap groups.

In 1990, Ice Cube went solo and released two records that sold a combined three million copies. His second album Death Certificate debuted at #1 on the R&B Album charts and #2 on the Top 200. In total, Ice Cube has sold over 10 million albums. Not only is Ice Cube a musical genius, but he's appeared in numerous films including Boyz n the Hood, Friday, and Barbershop. Many of his more recent movies have shown the lighter side of Ice Cube's dynamic personality.
