Aly and AJ have become one of the biggest duos to come out of the Teen Pop genre in some time. Their acoustic sounds and original songs have made them extremely popular in just a short time. Aly and AJ are Alyson Renae "Aly" Michalka and Amanda Joy "AJ" Michalka. The Michalka sisters were born in California, though they did spend some of their childhood in Seattle.

Both girls are actresses and also write and play their own music. As a part of Disney Corp., they have released some of their music in Disney movies such as Ice Princess and Herbie: Fully Loaded. Though they have been fully involved with Disney, Aly and AJ are also well known in the Contemporary Christian and Gospel Music Association, and are also known for their open talk about their faith. Aly and AJ bring a fun, family friendly show whenever they hit the road, TV or wherever the road may take them.
