Alison Krauss and Robert Plant are two artists with a rabid following in their respective genres of music. Robert Plant was the front man for the legendary hard rock band Led Zeppelin, Alison Krauss is a singer/songwriter/fiddle player for bluegrass band Union Station. Robert Plant was elected to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 for his work with Led Zeppelin, Alison Krauss is a multiple Grammy Award winner, both as a solo artist and for her work with Union Station.
Together the two artists formed a potent duo and released "Raising Sand" in October of 2007 to critical acclaim. This folk rock album produced the single, "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)", an Everly Bothers composition. The duo took home the 2008 Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboraion with Vocals for that particular single.
