There are bands that regardless of what type of music you normally listen to have a song or two that pretty much everyone likes. Journey is such a band!
During the band's heyday in the eighties with Steve Perry on vocals, Journey churned out some music that was absolutely infectious. Tunes such as Open Arms and Faithfully had couples scrambling for a spot on the dance floor, and songs such as Separate Ways and Only the Young had wannabe musicians looking for their air guitars. Journey made music that spoke to the heart and their songs were used constantly as dedications to a loved one on the radio. Maybe that is why all these years later people still cannot help but sing along when they hear Don't Stop Believin'. The final Sopranos episode even faded out with that song in the background!
