Talladega Events

Talladega, Alabama has become synonymous with NASCAR as the home of Talladega Superspeedway. Since its inception in 1969, this hallowed track has featured the greatest drivers in the business, including Will Farrell’s Rick Bobby character from the film “Talladega Nights.” The Superspeedway hosts two of the biggest weekends on the NASCAR calendar. Aaron’s Dream Weekend kicks off with the Aaron’s 312 of the NASCAR Nationwide Series and culminates with the Sprint Cup Series’ Aaron’s 499. Other events of note: the AMP Energy 500 Weekend--another big stop on the Sprint Cup Series schedule--and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series’ Mountain Dew 250.
