Syracuse Events

Syracuse is a city where college sports reigns supreme. The Carrier Dome within Syracuse University is ground zero for entertainment activities—both sporting and musical—in the city. As the home of Syracuse Universitity Orange (and the Orangemen and Orangewomen), the Carrier Dome is usually packed with chanting football and basketball fans and regularly ranks as the most highly-attended college basketball venue in the nation. Syracuse won the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament in 2003 and is a regular in the tournament. The Carrier Dome has hosted the Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament in 1983, 1997, 2000, 2002, 2005 and 2010, and is the home of most major concerts in the Syracuse area.
