Help Me Choose My Baseball Seats at Dodger Stadium
Events: Los Angeles Dodgers
General Information
Dodger Stadium has been the home of the Los Angeles Dodgers since
1962. While you are there, you have to have a world famous foot-long
"Dodger Dog." Dodger Stadium has the reputation of being
one of the cleanest ballparks in the US. Just be aware when looking
for your seats that the odd numbered aisles are on the left field
side of the ballpark and the even numbered aisles are on the right
field side. There are no "sections" in Dodger Stadium
there are only aisles. When it comes to the Lodge level the numbering
of the rows gets a little confusing. Each row letter is actually
used for two rows. Row A is the first two rows on the left side
of the aisle as you are heading up, while Row B is the first two
rows on the right side of the aisle as you are heading up. Seats
1-4 are in the first row while 5-8 are in the second row. There
are 8 seats per row. Now that you know the basics of the park lets
find the right seats for you.
Best Seats in the house
Rated - Dugout Club
The Dugout Club is just about the best place that you can be when
you are in Dodger Stadium. This prestigious section is right behind
home plate. The amenities here are great. Not only are you as close
to home plate as you can get (without being the catcher, of course)
but you also have access to the private club and bar that are attached
to the Dugout Club. There is in-seat wait service and no-host cocktail
service. You get complementary buffet service catered by Wolfgang
Puck and Levy Restaurants. The seats are very comfortable, theater
style seats and the rows have extra wide aisles.
Excellent Seats
Rated - Club Level Suites 201 - 234
For a little more relaxed atmosphere but still a great view of the
game the Club Level Suites (201-234) are the perfect sections. Ticket
holders here will have access to the Diamond Room restaurant, and
the Abner Doubleday Lounge. You are not as close as in the Dugout
Club but you still get comfortable seating and a higher, overall
view of the game.
Excellent Seats
Rated - Field & Loge Level Aisles
Look for seats in Field Level Aisles 1-27 & Loge Level Aisles
101-131
if you want to be up close where the action is but don't want to
pay the Dugout Club prices. Ideally the Field Level Aisles 1-19,
or Loge Level 101-131 are where you want to be, depending on how
high up you want to sit. From here you have a great overall view
of the action.
Good Seats
Rated - Field & Loge Level Foul Lines
The field level and loge level aisles along the foul lines offer
a good view at a good price. Here you are in the prime area for
foul balls. The loge level puts you a little higher up but really
gives you a nice perspective of the entire playing field. If you
require handicapped seating the loge level has an area for wheelchair
seating.
Economical Seats
Rated - Pavilions & Top Deck
The Pavilions are the first set of seats rated economical. Here
you are far away from home plate but you are in prime territory
for the chance to catch a home run. These are the bleacher grandstands
in left and right field. Overhead the right Field Pavilion is a
scoreboard and overhead the left field pavilion is the Dodger Vision
Jumbotron. Also, no alcohol is sold in the pavilions, so if you
want to drink a cold beer, you gotta' hike for it. The Top Deck
Seats are also rated economical. These are the seats to choose if
you just want to get out to the park for a game and don't mind a
view from up high. The Top Deck seats are the red section of the
ball park. From here you will get a nice view of the surrounding
country side, but if you want to watch the game you had better bring
some binoculars. This section is equipped with wheelchair seating
for the handicapped.
