A New Jersey Nets Fan's Guide to the Game

You're ready for top-notch NBA hoops at The Meadowlands. The Nets are ready to make another run at postseason glory and Eastern Conference fame, so let's get you to the game with plenty of time to enjoy some good food and a great game.

Parking is available at The Meadowlands Sports & Entertainment Complex for around $10.00 during regular season Nets games. The complex is accessible from the George Washington Bridge, Lincoln Tunnel, the Jersey Turnpike, the Garden State Parkway, the Holland Tunnel or the Brooklyn-Staten Island Bridge Crossings. Give yourself plenty of time to get into and out of the complex, and even more time if there are multiple events scheduled at the Complex.

Hungry? You'll find the usual arena-fare inside the Arena. With the time it takes to park and get inside the Arena, you might as well plan on grabbing a hot dog, pizza or some nachos at the game.

Arena food not your preference? Your best option for dining before the game would be to check out the restaurants and cafes located near Paterson and Park Avenues.

The Sonoma Grill located at 64 Hoboken Rd. offers a menu of American, Californian, Eclectic, Fusion and stake dishes. If you're lucky you can catch some live music after the game.

Cafe Matisse, located at 167 Park Ave., offers a menu of American, Continental, Eclectic and seafood dishes.

The Sonoma Grill and Cafe Matisse are only a couple of the many restaurants, cafes and coffee shops you can find near Patterson and Park Avenues in East Rutherford, NJ. Other recommendations include:

Kayasan Restaurant - 235 Paterson;
Jersey Sports Cafe - 125 Park Ave;
Railroad Cafe - 170 Union Ave.
