KROQ has been a legend in the world of rock and roll radio for decades. Shows like "Rodney on the Roq" helped put this station on the map, a station that prides itself on playing underground music.
Since 1993 KROQ has hosted a music festival that more than 15 years later continues to be a popular event. Popular alternative acts such as X, The Ramones, Echo and the Bunnymen, Interpol and Social Distortion have played this festival over the years.
