Kid Rock began his musical career in 1982, honing his skills as a DJ and a rapper. Success did not come right away for the artist, and it was not until 1998 with the release of Devil Without a Cause that Kid Rock reached the mainstream. The disc went multi-platinum, peaked at Number Four on the album charts and garnered Kid Rock two Grammy nominations.
Not content to only be known as a rap-rock artist. Kid Rock teamed up with Sheryl Crow in 2002 on the single Picture, a song which became a massive crossover hit on both the Billboard singles and country charts. Since the initial success of Devil Without a Cause, Kid Rock has had several of his albums go multi-platinum and has seen his audience continue to grow.
Live, Kid Rock has a great reputation for putting on a powerful show, as evidenced by his live disc Live Trucker. Kid Rock will be teaming up with Lynyrd Skynyrd for some of his dates during the summer, so please check the listings in your area to see if your town will be one of those stops!
